Siddha Hum Action:

Sidho Hum Kriya is a yogic practice that includes meditation as well as a simple five-step asana practice known as Sidho Hum Abhaya. Sit in the starting position of Sukhasana and prepare yourself to begin the process of Sidhoham meditation where you offer this practice to the universe.

Method of doing Asanas:

  • Sit in comfort
  • Straighten your back and close your eyes
  • Keep inhaling and exhaling normally
  • Gently bring the tip of the index finger and thumb finger together – Dhyana Mudra
  • Sidho Hum Abhay
  • There are five steps to practicing Sidho Hum Abhaya. Direction – Sitting towards East. This exercise is ideal when performed during sunrise, and each step is performed for one minute.

 

1. Samastathi

I am part of this existence, and I am present in the past, present, and future since eternity.

Method of asana

  • put your feet together
  • keep your spine straight
  • Keep your arms at your sides, and extend them slightly away from your body.
  • put your palms out
  • slowly close your eyes
  • rest the body

Breathing method- breathing in naturally and exhaling naturally

 

2. Pranam-

Method of doing Asanas:

  • Start with Samastithi
  • Join your palms in front of your chest in such a way that your elbows are aligned with your wrists.
  • slowly close your eyes and bow down

Breathing method – take a breath by joining your palms and exhaling as you bend

 

3. Pukar Status-

 Praying to the Universe for Energy and Wisdom

Method of asana:

  • put your feet together
  • keep your spine straight
  • Raise your arms up, spread them at a 45-degree angle and turn your palms inward
  • slowly close your eyes
  • rest the body

 

4. Receipt Status

Method of doing Asanas:

  • put your feet together
  • keep your spine straight
  • Stretch your palms forward in front of your chest and fold your palms up in the shape of a cup or pot
  • slowly close your eyes
  • rest the body

Breathing Method- Inhale and Breathe Naturally Inhale and Exhale

 

5. Gratitude-

Express your gratitude for what you have received

  • put your palms on your heart
  • slowly close your eyes
  • rest the body

Breathing method- Inhale while raising the arms and continue the natural inhalation and exhalation.
